Why use a PWM Controller?

The most common alternative to using a PWM circuit to control the speed of a typical DC motor is simply to lower the DC voltage. However, a significant amount of motor torque will be lost as motor speed is decreased. With a PWM circuit, very little torque is lost. Additionally, our PWM controller provides compatibility with programmable logic controllers (PLC).
